Refund policy

There is a $50 service charge for processing refunds. Requests for registration refunds must be received before June 1, 2011. NO refunds will be issued after June 1, 2011. There is no refund for registration fees on author registrations. Author registrations may be transferred to a co-author in case the original registrant cannot show.

Author registration

Author registration deadline is April 28, 2011. Each accepted paper has to have one author registered at a full (non-student) rate. For authors who have several accepted papers, one of the papers has to have a full (non-student) registration, while all other papers of the author may have a student (co-author) registration. Note that funds must be received by April 28, 2011, i.e., faxes and emails should be sent appropriately.

Extra pages: extra pages are charged at 150 USD per page. See the camera-ready submission instructions for extra page limits, which depend on the type of paper. This fee must be received by the author registration deadline.

PhD Forum papers. As a special case, registration of a student author of an accepted PhD forum paper can be a student registration. If the student has already registered for another paper (main conference or workshop), this registration is valid also for the PhD forum.

Registration for Italian VAT taxpayers

Attendees residing in Italy and willing to register as Italian VAT taxpayers are subject to the VAT local reverse charge mechanism (Art. 17, paragraph 2, D.P.R. 633/1972). Domestic reverse charge implies that the attendee has to self-assess the VAT. Notice that an Italian VAT number is required in order to use this approach.

Please contact the registration chair, Prof. Yonghe Liu, at yonghe@cse.uta.edu, to receive specific registration instructions for Italian VAT taxpayers.

Visa Information

WoWMoM organizers do not issue formal invitation letters for visas. Authors of accepted papers can however ask for a visa support letter from conference chairs, if needed. For visa support letters, please send all requests to wowmom2011@iet.unipi.it. Please include in the e-mail the following information:

  • Name and mailing address as it appears on your passport
  • Title of the paper accepted for the conference
  • Registration confirmation number (invoice)
  • Fax number

For information about issuing of Visas for Italy, please visit http://www.esteri.it/visti/index_eng.asp.

Remember that visa support letters are not issued via email.
